Job Title: IT Technician

Salary: 65k AUD + Superannuation

Location - Alice Springs, Northern Territory, Australia.

Qualifications and experience:

· Minimum experience as a technician for 3-5 years.

· We are looking for a person who can multi-task and fix a wide range of devices for our customers.

· No front sales is required as this role is dedicated to troubleshoot and repair phones, tablets & possibly other daily use gadgets.

· Current experience in repairing devices is required for this role.

· Micro soldering ability is not required, however an interest in learning these techniques would be highly desirable.

Requirements

Tasks and responsibilities:

· Using our computerised Job ticketing system to review repairs requested by customers.

· Speaking with staff to clarify repair details if needed.





· Troubleshooting & repairing a wide range of mobile phones, tablets, laptops and other devices.

· This may include replacing screens, charger ports, speakers, batteries, cameras & all small parts.

· Estimating and quoting non-standard repairs.

· Identifying special parts required to complete repairs (may involve speaking to parts suppliers)

· Testing functionality of repaired devices.

· Recording notes on job-sheets regarding repair, including noting parts used and operation of device testing after repair.

· Monitoring & maintaining spare parts inventory.
