About the Role
Based from either our Kingston or Ipswich plants, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of bulk cement and flyash to our concrete batching plants in Kingston, Beaudesert and Ipswich
Working closely with our Production team,
you'll play a key role in ensuring our operations continue to run safely and efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include
· Operating an HC pneumatic bulk cement tanker.
· Safely loading and unloading bulk cement/flyash.
· Completing daily pre-start inspections and basic vehicle checks.
· Ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and on schedule.
· Maintaining accurate delivery documentation.
· Working in accordance with NHVR, Chain of Responsibility, fatigue management and workplace safety requirements.
· Maintaining a clean and professional vehicle at all times.
· Representing Sunmix Concrete professionally when interacting with suppliers.
About You
We're looking for a dependable and safety-focused qualified who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a close-knit team.
You'll ideally have
· Current HC Driver Licence.
· Experience operating heavy combination vehicles.
· Pneumatic or bulk tanker experience (preferred but not essential).
· A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
· Excellent communication and time management skills.
· The ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
· A positive attitude, strong work ethic and attention to detail.
· Reliability and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
