The Head

Engineer is responsible for ensuring technology remains a strategic business enabler by delivering secure, scalable, maintainable, and highly available applications. The role combines technology leadership, governance,

engineering delivery, people management, and vendor management responsibilities.

Day to day

Accountable for the rapid, reliable and repeated delivery of quality technology product to the business Responsible for vendor management for the provision of supporting infrastructure and engineering resourcing – ensuring service aligns with key performance metrics Responsible to ensure technical lead projects are planned and executed according to schedule and scope Accountable for the technology strategy and roadmap Accountable for the standards, guidelines and processes for software engineering process and technology inclusive of automation initiatives to reduce the time to market and ensure quality product Accountable for the identification and management of technical and security risks to ensure compliance to engineering standards and supported technologies Lead a team of engineers,



provide technical mentorship and manage performance and resource planning Collaborate with the broader engineering practice to continually lift the quality and value of the overall team Stay current with technology trends and developments, identifying opportunities to introduce new technologies that will benefit the delivery of products to our customers and team You'll be perfect for the role if you have:
