About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled Reach Stacker / Heavy Forklift Operator to join our Dayshift team. This is a permanent, full‑time role available at Forrestfield.

As a Reach Stacker Operator, you will be responsible for container movements in a high-volume, high-turnover rail terminals, servicing 3-4 trains daily, alongside numerous truck container operations. This role requires proficiency in operating heavy forklifts and reach stackers, ensuring productive, accurate, and safe handling of containers.

You Will Need the Ability to:

- Safely operate Reach Stackers in busy rail terminals.
- Move, stack and handle containers with precision, following terminal procedures.
- Keep accurate digital records (iPad/operating systems).




- Work both independently and as part of a cohesive crew to meet shift targets.
- Uphold safety procedures and contribute to our safety culture.

What You Will Bring

- A valid Reach Stacker (RS) ticket (Required).
- Solid heavy forklift experience. Container terminal experience highly regarded.
- Basic computer skills for logging container movements.
- Reliability to work within a structured roster, including weekends.
- Your own transport to and from the terminal.
