Qualifications & experience
- Diesel Mechanic qualification.
- Sound diesel servicing and diagnostic's knowledge and experience.
- Ability to document, record and track servicing and maintenance of all vehicles
- A proactive approach to regulate maintenance, servicing & repair.
- Current driver’s license
- Must be able to work unsupervised
- Hands on approach
- Solid work ethic and positive attitude
Tasks & responsibilities
- Regular servicing and maintenance – A, B and C services
- Perform minor and major repairs on trucks and trailers
- Working safely and adhering to relevant HSE policy and procedures to minimise the risk of injury to yourself and others.
- Ongoing maintenance and repairs of trucks and trailers
- Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles and equipment
- Diagnose and repair faults efficiently and effectively
- Maintain parts inventory and cleanliness in the workshop
- Company Vehicle provided
