We’re growing and currently seeking dedicated Home Care Workers servicing our clients in and around Ipswich region.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Caring for others is truly a calling. As a Home Care Worker, you’ll provide high-quality care and support services that enable older people to live safely and comfortably in their own homes.

Your compassion and reliability will help our clients maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life.





You will

Assist with personal care, including showering, dressing, and toileting

Provide domestic support such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation

Offer transport and social assistance to appointments, shopping, and leisure activities

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and families

Ensure health and safety standards are followed at all times

ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for proactive, empathetic, and reliable individuals who are committed to delivering excellence in care and service.

Essential requirements

Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent

Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle (including valid registration with minimal 3rd Party Insurance)

Current First Aid Certificate

Previous home care or community care experience

You will also have

Motivation to work with older people and an understanding of their needs

Strong communication and time management skills

Ability to work independently and safely in a client’s home

Alignment with the Christian values and ethos of The Salvation Army
