Hospitality Finance & Operations Manager

Kahan Group is seeking an experienced hospitality-focused finance professional to join our growing business and help take pressure off day-to-day operational admin while improving financial reporting, systems and accountability across the group.

This is not a standard bookkeeping role.

We are looking for someone who understands hospitality operations, can work closely with venue management and ownership, and can help build accurate, real-time reporting systems that actually support decision making.

You will work across multiple hospitality businesses including high-volume venues, events and entertainment operations.

About the Role

This role is a mix of:

- management accounting
- bookkeeping oversight
- systems management
- operational reporting
- process improvement
- finance administration leadership

You will be expected to take ownership of reporting accuracy, improve workflows and reduce operational admin pressure on venue management and directors.

Key Responsibilities

- Weekly P&L; reporting with true and accurate financial visibility

- Cashflow and creditor reporting

- Oversight of payables, invoice processing and reconciliations

- Weekly labour and COGS reporting

- Integration and management of hospitality systems





- Identifying operational inefficiencies and implementing better processes

- Supporting venue management with financial accountability

- Leading projects to minimise manual admin work across operations

- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and business planning

- Working closely with ownership on strategic finance projects

Systems Experience Required

Strong experience with

- Xero

- Bepoz

- Lightyear

- Cooking the Books

Hospitality finance experience is essential.

What We’re Looking For

- Minimum 3 years hospitality finance/accounting experience

- Strong understanding of venue operations

- Ability to work in a quick-paced hospitality environment

- High attention to detail

- Strong communication and leadership skills

- Someone proactive who solves problems rather than waiting to be told what to do

- Experience improving systems and workflows highly regarded
