About the role

Empire Hospitality Australia is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Operations Manager to join our team in Perth, WA 6000. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation and guest satisfaction across our hospitality operations.

As Housekeeping Operations

Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all housekeeping functions, managing teams, and ensuring that every aspect of our facilities meets our exacting standards. This role is integral to delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the operational excellence that defines Empire Hospitality Australia.

Key responsibilities

- Manage, supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality cleaning and maintenance standards
- A proven track record in managing BSA and LQA processes and outcomes
- Maintain a close and strong working relationship with our valued clients
- Ability to step in and run the department when required from time to time
- Develop and implement housekeeping policies, procedures and best practice protocols across all operational areas
- Monitor room and facility inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene standards
- Prepare and manage housekeeping budgets, including staffing costs, supplies and equipment procurement
- Create and maintain cleaning schedules and work rosters to optimise team efficiency and guest satisfaction
- Liaise with other departments to coordinate maintenance requests and resolve operational issues promptly
- Conduct regular audits and quality control checks to maintain service standards and identify improvement opportunities
- Address guest complaints and concerns related to cleanliness and housekeeping services
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment,



ensuring cost-effective procurement and storage
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback and performance management to housekeeping team members

What we're looking for

- Minimum 5 years' experience in housekeeping management within a luxury hotel environment
- Proven track record of managing and motivating diverse housekeeping teams effectively
- Formal management qualifications would be an advantage
- Full availability and flexibility to work at varying times and days
- Strong knowledge of cleaning protocols, health and safety regulations, and hygiene standards relevant to hospitality operations
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
- Proficiency with housekeeping management systems and relevant software applications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and control costs whilst maintaining service quality
- Problem-solving mindset with the capability to respond quickly to operational challenges
- Leadership qualities and the ability to inspire and develop team members
- Assist the National Operations Manager with business development opportunities
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (desirable)
- Experience in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives (preferred)
