Role Description This is a full-time, on-site HVAC Engineer role based in Australia. The HVAC Engineer will design, develop, and implement heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects, ensuring compliance with local standards and energy-efficiency requirements.

Day-to-day responsibilities include performing load calculations, preparing system layouts, selecting equipment, and creating technical drawings and specifications. The role involves coordinating with architects, contractors,



and project managers, supervising installation and commissioning, and troubleshooting system performance issues. The HVAC Engineer will also conduct site inspections, support maintenance planning, and prepare reports and documentation to ensure safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong HVAC system design, load calculation, and equipment selection skills.
- Candidates should possess skills in reading and creating technical drawings, CAD tools use, and project documentation.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Australian building codes, mechanical standards, and energy-efficiency regulations.
- Candidates should possess problem-solving skills for diagnostics, troubleshooting, and system optimization.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Candidates should possess the ability to conduct site assessments, supervise installation, and oversee testing and commissioning.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field are preferred.
