Industrial Plumber

BG Industrial Plumbing is looking for an experienced plumber to join our infrastructure team in a permanent full-time position.

This is direct employment with an established plumbing contractor—not short-term labour hire. You’ll work across major rail, water, civil and industrial projects throughout Sydney, supported by experienced supervisors and a robust directly employed crew.

The work

Depending on the project, your responsibilities will include:

- Temporary site compound and hydraulic service installations

- New water and sewer connections and cutovers

- HDPE pipework installation, electrofusion and butt welding

- Dewatering and temporary pumping systems

- General industrial and infrastructure plumbing

- Maintenance, fault-finding and rectification works

- Reading plans and completing testing and commissioning activities

- $48–$55 per hour, based on experience and capability

What we’re looking for

- Current NSW plumbing qualifications and the appropriate licence or certificate for the role

- Strong post-trade plumbing experience

- Industrial, infrastructure, commercial or maintenance experience

- Ability to read plans and confidently fault-find

- Manual driver’s licence and White Card
- A reliable, safety-focused approach

- Ability to work independently and communicate professionally with supervisors and clients

HDPE/poly welding, Backflow Prevention and TMV qualifications are highly regarded but are not essential for the right plumber. Training can be provided.
