International travel may be required for supplier training, customer support, installations, or service projects.
Interstate travel is usually about every 2 weeks and may range from a day trip to a few nights away.
Whilst not travelling for service work, the role will include assisting with operational activities including shipping, internal projects etc.

· Diagnose and troubleshoot instrument issues

testing, and commissioning
· Prepare service reports, calibration records, and customer documentation

· Work with the internal team and suppliers to resolve technical issues

Clear communication and professional customer manner
Ability to work independently once trained
Current driver’s license
Willingness to travel interstate and occasionally internationally when required
Permanent Australian work rights
Ability to pass police/background checks and maintain customer site clearances
Nice-to-have:
Experience servicing laboratory, scientific, medical, or industrial equipment
Electronics, mechatronics, instrumentation, calibration, or mechanical background
Experience in pharmaceutical,
biotech, food & beverage, GMP, or laboratory environments
Familiarity with analytical instruments such as TOC, CCIT, HPLC, GC, or similar systems
Previous field service experience The right person is someone looking to grow with the business and step into the various jobs and tasks required as Amscorp continues to grow and scale.
What success looks like In your first 30 days, you will learn our key products, shadow service jobs, understand our documentation standards, and get familiar with our customer base.
In your first 90 days, you will begin completing supervised service, calibration, and preventative maintenance work.
Within 6 months, the goal is for you to handle routine service visits independently, with support available for more complex jobs.
