We are currently seeking an International Logistics Coordinator to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract and play a critical role in supporting our international markets.
This role will be responsible for converting customer orders from Blackmores' international markets into successful shipments. This includes coordinating with our 3PL partners, booking air and sea freight, preparing export and customs documentation, and ensuring products more efficiently from Australia into South East Asia and Great China regions.
Reporting to the International Logistics Team Leader, you will work as part of a close-knit team of four specialists, you'll thrive in a rapid-paced environment where collaboration, adaptability and attention to detail are essential. This role is based in Sydney, working at least 3 days per week from our Surry Hills office and 2 days from home.
What will you do?
- Manage end-to-end processing of international customer orders via sea and air freight.
- Prepare export and customs documentation to support timely shipment clearance.
- Coordinate closely with freight forwarders, 3PL providers and internal stakeholders.
- Proactively communicate shipment updates, delays and risks to key stakeholders.
- Support logistics administration activities across both international and domestic freight operations.
- Ensure logistics procedures and controls are followed to maintain high operational standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the International Logistics function.
What you'll Bring?
- At least 3years' or more work experience in a similar logistics, import/export or international freight role. Industry exposure to similar consumer healthcare and FMCG is preferred.
- Experience working with Free Trade Agreements (FTAs).
- Knowledge of import/export permits and government regulatory requirements of international markets in Asia and China will be an added advantage
- Strong understanding of Incoterms, freight forwarding and international shipping processes and documentation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and effectively manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
