Permanent full time opportunity to provide clinical support across allied health services in the provision of high quality, evidence based, multidisciplinary clinical, education and research services at Surgical Treatment and Rehabilitation Service (STARS). This position will contribute to patient care by providing clinical support tasks delegated under the direct supervision of an allied health professional, across a number of areas, including the Geriatric and Rehabilitation Services, surgical inpatients and ambulatory services. The position will provide environmental and equipment maintenance of the specific work areas within the allied health services, STARS.

Fulfil the accountabilities of this role in accordance with Queensland Health's core values as well as the department's quality human resource management practices including workplace health and safety, employment equity, anti-discrimination and ethical behaviour
Maintain relevant clinical documentation and collection of statistics in accordance with organisational guidelines.
Provide a defined range of clinical screening assessments and interventions for patients of the allied health service, as delegated by a health professional.
Provide basic education on a defined range of topics to patients or groups of patients.
