Role Responsibilities

- Research, pitch, and develop original news stories, features, and in-depth articles.

- Conduct interviews, gather firsthand insights, and verify facts using authoritative sources.

- Create transparent, compelling, and accurate written content tailored to diverse audiences.

- Edit and proofread articles to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to editorial standards.

- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other journalists to enhance content quality.

- Monitor current events, trends, and issues relevant to assigned beats.

Requirements

- Have proven experience as a journalist with a strong portfolio of published work.





- Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills, showcasing meticulous attention to detail.

- Be proficient in conducting interviews and synthesizing complex information.

- Demonstrate the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a remote setting.

- Possess a high degree of curiosity, initiative, and critical thinking.

- Have a solid understanding of media law, ethics, and best practices.
