9-Day Fortnight Roster - 6am-3pm Monday- Friday | Rostered Day Off every Fortnight The Role Play a vital role in effectively keeping the Town's Parks and Open Spaces irrigated!

Reporting to the Leading Hand - Irrigation, this hands-on role is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, solving problems and making a visible impact on the community. As an I rrigation Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving the Town's irrigation infrastructure across parks, ovals, sports grounds, landscaped areas and community facilities.

In This Role, You Will

- Assist with daily irrigation maintenance programs and reporting requirements
- Perform scheduled testing, maintenance and repairs to irrigation systems
- Safely operate plant and equipment in accordance with operational requirements
- Maintain high service standards across the Town's irrigation network
- Ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) policies and procedures
- Accurately maintain records and corporate documentation

As part of the Irrigation Team, you will work across a diverse range of community assets, including sporting fields, neighbourhood parks, public open spaces, landscaped streetscapes and key town entry statements. You will gain experience working with both centrally controlled and standalone irrigation systems, helping to ensure the Town's green spaces remain safe, attractive and well-maintained for residents and visitors to enjoy. Work Related Requirements The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical,



including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role, as well as possess:

- Demonstrated experience or formal qualification in the design, installation and maintenance of commercial irrigation/park management systems
- Experience with re-use water
- White Card
- National Police Clearance
- Current 'C' class drivers licence
- Rights to work in Australia
