About the role

We're looking for a warm, organised, and people-focused Onboarding Specialist to manage the end-to-end experience for our contractors and new hires. You'll be the friendly face behind the process - making sure everyone who joins us feels informed, supported, and set up for success from day one. When the wider talent team needs a hand with sourcing, you'll pitch in to keep things moving.

What you'll be doing

Contractor management

- Manage the full contractor lifecycle from contract issuance through to offboarding, including renewals and extensions
- Ensure all compliance requirements are met - right-to-work, ABN, TFN, Withholding Declarations, and Superannuation
- Be the primary point of contact for contractors, resolving day-to-day queries and keeping records current across internal platforms

Candidate management & onboarding





- Own all post-offer activity including references, police checks, VEVO verification, and other pre-employment requirements
- Coordinate with the client on system access, WHS inductions, and first-day logistics
- Conduct regular check-ins throughout the candidate lifecycle to keep people engaged, informed, and supported

Sourcing support (overflow)

- Build and maintain sourcing lists and talent pools, keeping candidate records and statuses current in internal platforms
- Assist with pre-screening and talent pooling admin to ensure pipelines are organised and ready when roles go live

What we're looking for

- 3+ years in onboarding, recruitment coordination, or a similar people operations role in Australia
- MSP/RPO Experience
- Solid understanding of Fair Work, NES, and contractor compliance requirements
- Familiar with VEVO checks, national police checks, and ABN/TFN documentation
- Comfortable managing high volumes with strong attention to detail
- A excellent communicator who genuinely enjoys helping people
- Proficient in an ATS or VMS (e.g. Fieldglass, Beeline)
- Knowledge of Australian background screening tools (e.g. CVCheck, Fit2Work)
- Astute payroll experience is highly regarded
- Exposure to labour hire or agency contractor programmes
- Some sourcing or direct talent outreach experience
