We are currently partnering with a rapidly growing global infrastructure and AI technology business to appoint an IT Administrator to join their Sydney-based technology team.
This organisation is a leading AI cloud and high-performance compute provider, delivering large-scale GPU infrastructure for AI training and inference workloads. Their vertically integrated platform spans renewable-powered data centre operations across North America, with continued international growth driving further investment into their internal technology capability.
The Role:
This position will play a key role in supporting and maintaining day-to-day IT operations across the business, ensuring employees receive responsive technical support while contributing to the stability and scalability of enterprise systems and infrastructure, including:
- Provide first-level technical support across hardware, software, networking and cloud-based systems.
- Assist in maintaining IT infrastructure including servers, enterprise networks and cloud environments.
- Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory and virtualised environments across the organisation.
- Perform routine system maintenance including updates, patching, backups and monitoring activities.
- Troubleshoot technical issues across Windows and Linux environments,
escalating complex issues where required.
- Assist with IT security and compliance activities aligned with industry best practices.
- Participate in technology projects including deployments, upgrades and infrastructure improvements.
- Document system configurations, troubleshooting processes and operational procedures.
Desired Background:
- 3–10 years of experience across IT administration, desktop support, systems support or infrastructure environments.
- Exposure to Windows and Linux operating systems, networking fundamentals and cloud technologies.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Active Directory and virtualisation platforms.
- trong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities with a proactive approach to support.
- Relevant certifications including CompTIA A+, Network+ or Microsoft certifications are highly regarded.
