Job Title – Java Full Stack Technical Lead

Job Location – Melbourne

Employment Type – Contract

Key Responsibilities

What role you will play in Team:

- Lead end-to-end development of enterprise applications using Java and modern frontend technologies.

- Bridge frontend and backend teams to deliver scalable, integrated solutions.

- Use Copilot/AI-assisted tools to understand, reverse engineer, and analyze existing codebases.





- Identify, design, and implement APIs and integration solutions.

- Drive technical design, code reviews, best practices, and application modernization.

- Mentor developers and provide technical leadership across project teams.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and product owners in Agile delivery environments.

Required Skills

- Java 8+/11+/17+, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security

- Microservices, REST APIs, Hibernate/JPA

- React.js or Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS

- SQL (Oracle/PostgreSQL/MySQL), MongoDB

- Git, Maven/Gradle, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes

- Strong API design and system integration experience

- Experience with GitHub Copilot/Microsoft Copilot or similar AI coding tools

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team leadership skills

Experience

- 10+ years in Java Full Stack Development

2+ years leading technical teams and enterprise application delivery
