Due to high demand for our services, we have an opening for a full-stack developer to add their skills to our team. You will be involved in several projects with a focus on simulation and data science, deploying solutions that bring real and immediate value to our clients. Our team of scientists who can code has need of a specialist developer who can do some science!

The particular focus of this role is maintaining and extending a sophisticated modeling tool that has been developed in Java. Outside that, however, will be many opportunities to contribute to the other work of our software team.

The software team's focus is on packaging sophisticated scientific code into web applications, providing a control surface for clients to interact with these models and make business decisions. We develop, deploy and support these applications which requires us to work flexibly across the entire stack,



from devops to database all the way to front end UI components. User management, security, CI/CD, application workflow design, custom model interfacing and more are all part of our remit, so a willingness to embrace challenges anywhere in the software realm is highly regarded.

Come and join a small team with no politics where you’ll see the difference you are making every day! We seek enthusiastic and bright candidates with most of the following:

- 2+ years in commercial software. Be conversant with version control, deployment and observability.
- Development experience with (in decreasing order of importance) Java, Python, JavaScript, React, FastAPI, docker and AWS.
- Familiarity with statistical and analytical packages and algorithms.
- Database and ORM skills (Snowflake, Postgres, SQLModel/SQLAlchemy and redis)
- Consulting experience also highly regarded.
