The role The team at Longboard Accountants is looking for a junior/intermediate accountant with excellent communication skills to join our Ringwood office.
The successful candidate will have completed their business and/or commerce degree, preferably with a major in accounting and have commenced their CPA/CA program. Further to this, candidates should have at least 12 months experience within business or public practice.
The role will entail working as part of a team reporting to the manager and partner and will see you responsible for:
- Direct client communication
- Financial Statement and Tax Return preparation
- Activity Statement (BAS/IAS) preparation
- Fringe Benefits Tax preparation
- State taxes (e.g. payroll tax)
- Annual tax planning
- Bookkeeping and payroll
- Management accounts preparation
- Workflow management
