We’re looking for a proactive and customer-focused Product Engineer to join our collaborative ES team. In this role, you’ll be at the centre of product development and customer engagement, through involvement in opportunities on arranged discovery calls, responding to inbound enquiries, supporting the field sales team, and building lasting relationships through exceptional service and product knowledge.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in the design and development of new products, ensuring they meet specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct testing and analysis of product prototypes to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to refine product designs based on feedback and testing results.
- Be able Maintain, Sustain and Develop existing products.
- Prepare technical documentation and reports to support product development processes.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and contribute ideas for product enhancements.
- Provide technical support through phone calls and emails to support both internal teams and customers.
- Conceptualise custom products to fit the needs of non-standard customer requirements.
- Quality asses the products produced by others in the team to identify any issues before it reaches the customer

Qualifications:

- An Engineering Qualification or demonstrable work experience in an Engineering capacity.




- A genuine passion for helping customers and solving problems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in internal sales, customer service, or technical support—ideally in the scientific, environmental, or industrial sectors.
- A proactive and curious mindset, with a desire to learn our products and industry.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and CRM systems (experience with Microsoft Dynamics highly regarded).
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- A keen attention to detail and a passion for engineering and product development.
