About the role

We are seeking a Junior Receptionist to join the team at Australian Hot Water South West. This is a full-time position based in Moorebank. As a Junior Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, customers, and visitors, playing a vital role in creating a positive impression of our organisation. This role is essential to ensuring smooth daily operations and providing exceptional customer service that reflects our commitment to excellence.

What you'll be doing

1. Greeting and welcoming visitors, clients, and customers in a professional and courteous manner in our office.

2. Answering incoming telephone calls and directing them to the appropriate team members

3. Responding to email and written enquiries promptly and professionally

4. Managing the reception desk and maintaining a clean, organised workspace

5. Scheduling appointments and maintaining the work flow on our plumber's scheduling systems

6. Processing and distributing incoming deliveries

7. Providing general administrative support to the Accounts Manager

8. Recording visitor information and maintaining visitor logs

9. Assisting with data entry and filing tasks as required

10. Supporting the coordination of meetings and events

1. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

3. Organisational and time management skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems

5. Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities

6. Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping

7. Reliability and punctuality
8. A willingness to learn and develop new skills

9. Experience in a reception or customer-facing role is highly desirable

10. Experience with telephone systems and scheduling software is advantageous
