El Mexicano Hyde Park is looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hand / Dishwasher to join our team. The successful candidate will play an important role in keeping our kitchen clean, organized, and running efficiently. Key Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dishwashing area, and storage areas.
- Assist with basic food preparation when required.
- Dispose of rubbish and recycling, and keep waste areas clean.
- Receive and store deliveries following food safety procedures.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to high hygiene standards.
- Support chefs and kitchen staff during busy service periods.
- Follow all food safety, health, and workplace safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Previous kitchen hand or dishwasher experience is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate loads.
