Talentpath is proud to be partnering with an industry-leading resource recovery and environmental services organisation on the appointment of a newly created Senior Sales & Operations Coordinator.
This isn't a traditional sales support role. It's an opportunity for an experienced operator to become the engine room of a busy commercial team, bringing structure, accountability and continuous improvement to the sales function. You'll be the right hand to a team of Sales Executives, taking ownership of the customer enquiries, quotes, CRM, reporting and operational support that keep the team moving, while identifying smarter and more efficient ways of working.

About the role:
As a newly created position, you'll have the opportunity to shape how the role evolves, bringing structure, ownership and continuous improvement to a busy sales function as the business grows. Day to day, this will include:
- Act as the senior support partner to a busy team of Sales Executives,
ensuring they can focus on building relationships and winning new business.
- Provide high-level sales administration support across the entire customer journey, including customer enquiries, quotations, tenders, contracts, payments, onboarding and ongoing customer management.
- Become the central coordination point for all inbound sales enquiries, using sound commercial judgement to qualify, prioritise and direct opportunities appropriately.
- Manage multiple competing priorities in a genuinely fast-paced environment, keeping customer requests, sales activities and operational deadlines moving.
- Manage and develop one direct report, providing clear direction, day-to-day leadership and support while ensuring the consistent delivery of sales administration activities.
- Own and optimise Salesforce CRM, maintaining data integrity, pipeline visibility and meaningful reporting across the sales function.
- Produce sales reports, dashboards and commercial insights that support informed business decisions.
- Review existing workflows, identify inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, customer responsiveness and operational performance.
- Build strong relationships across the business to deliver an exceptional experience for both customers and internal stakeholders.
About you:

Supporting High-performing Sales Teams And Making An Impact On The Way a Business Operates. We're Looking For Someone Who Brings
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior sales administration, sales operations or commercial business support role, supporting multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience within a blue-collar industry is essential, with experience in waste & resource recovery, quarrying or closely related industries highly regarded.
- Advanced CRM experience, with the ability to manage reporting, pipeline visibility and data integrity. Salesforce is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience identifying workflow and process inefficiencies, recommending practical improvements and helping implement better ways of working.
- You're motivated by autonomy and enjoy working in an environment where you can take ownership, use your initiative and help shape processes as the business continues to grow.
- Strong commercial judgement and the confidence to make decisions independently, knowing when to elevate and when to simply get on with it.
- High levels of resilience, adaptability and organisation, with the ability to juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience within a privately owned or founder-led business will be highly regarded. You'll understand how to operate in an agile setting where priorities evolve, initiative is expected and everyone contributes beyond the boundaries of their position.
- A genuine team-first mindset. You're someone who enjoys collaborating, supporting those around you and contributing to the success of the wider business.
- Strong communication skills, professionalism and the ability to build trusted relationships with customers and across all levels of the organisation.
