About the Opportunity
Our Hudson Trade Centre Mitre 10 store in Kirrawee, NSW is looking for a reliable and organised Dispatch/Logistics/Admin Team Member to join our team and support the day-to-day delivery operations.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you’ll assist with coordinating deliveries, supporting drivers, and helping ensure orders go out accurately and on time. You’ll play an key part in providing a smooth and positive experience for our customers and builders.
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday with an hourly rate of $35.00 per hour
What you’ll be doing
- Assist with scheduling and confirming delivery orders using our Delivery Management System (DMS)
- Support the coordination of delivery runs and communicate with drivers
- Keep customers updated on delivery timeframes and any delays
- Help resolve basic delivery issues as they arise, escalating where needed
- Allocate and organise stock within the warehouse, following safety procedures
- Support with purchase orders and general admin tasks for the timber yard
- Provide general support to the Store Manager and wider team with daily operations
What you’ll bring
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics/dispatch, or trade workplace (highly regarded but not essential)
- A willingness to learn and take direction in a busy environment
- Robust communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to problem-solve and stay calm under pressure
- Basic computer skills (experience with DMS or similar systems is a bonus)
- Forklift licence (essential)
