Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Undermanager, you work in collaboration with the Undermanager, Deputies, UG Mechanical Engineering Manager and Maintenance Planner.

The role will require you to:

- Manage and supervise all mechanical activities on shift.
- Provide technical support and direction in relation to mechanical maintenance and operations.
- Maintain safety and electrical standards.

Skills and Experience

- Hold a mechanical trade, or mechanical engineering qualification.




- Sound understanding of the NSW Coal Mining Legislation and how it relates to underground mining processes.
- Superior problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to build, coach and lead the shift mechanical team.
- Previous experience as a supervisor at a contemporary longwall operation.
