Tennant Mines (TCMG) is an emerging Australian gold producer developing and operating high-quality gold assets in the Northern Territory. As our operations continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Health, Safety & Quality Advisor to join our team at the Nobles Gold Mine.

Reporting to the HSQ Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting and continuously improving our Health, Safety and Management Systems across mining, processing and site support functions. Working closely with leaders, employees and contractors, you'll provide practical advice, coaching and assurance to help drive a proactive safety culture and strong operational performance.

This is a hands‑on operational role suited to a safety professional who enjoys being in the field, building relationships and influencing positive safety outcomes. You'll have the chance to contribute to a growing mining operation while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across health, safety, quality and compliance.

What You'll Be Doing

- Provide frontline HSQ advice, coaching and support across mining, processing and site operations.
- Support and improve site Health and Safety Management Systems, procedures and standards.
- Facilitate risk assessments, critical control verification activities and hazard management processes.
- Participate in incident investigations and drive effective corrective actions and lessons learned.
- Conduct audits, inspections and compliance activities to ensure legislative and site requirements are met.
- Coordinate occupational health programs including health monitoring, drug and alcohol testing and fitness-for-work initiatives.
- Support rehabilitation and return-to-work activities for injured workers.
- Deliver training, coaching and field leadership interactions that build capability across the workforce.
- Monitor HSQ performance, analyse trends and contribute to site reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

Essential

- Demonstrated experience in an HSQ/HSE Advisor role within mining, resources or heavy industry.
- Strong knowledge of safety management systems, risk management, auditing and legislative compliance.
- Experience facilitating risk assessments and supporting incident investigations.
- Proven ability to coach and influence leaders, employees and contractors.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to analyse and report on safety performance.
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent).
- Current Advanced First Aid qualification.
- Risk assessment training and experience.
- Current Manual Driver's Licence.

Preferred

- Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Work Health and Safety.
- Lead Auditor qualification (ISO 45001, ISO 14001 or ISO 9001).
- ICAM Lead Investigator qualification.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
- Return to Work Coordinator qualification.
- Experience within Major Hazard Facility (MHF) and/or Principal Mining Hazard environments.
- Experience with HSQ management systems such as INX, Donesafe or PeopleTray.
- Emergency Response Team experience.
