ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Lab Assistant we need you to:
- Work collaboratively, in a small team environment
- Have a demonstrated ability to plan and prioritise your workload and work methodically and efficiently to complete tasks on schedule
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment
- Currently studying (or already possess) a related degree in science
- Be able to follow documented procedures and communicate effectively
- Possess positive computer literacy, including skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Possess good verbal and written communication skills
- Have sound knowledge of quality assurance and quality control management practices
- Participate in all laboratory activities including safety training, meetings and audit
- Comply with all relevant standards, company policies, procedures and work instructions
- Operate and perform maintenance on laboratory equipment as required
