We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join the team at Cama contracting. This is a full-time position based in Redcliffe, QLD 4020. As a Labourer, you will play a vital role in supporting our contracting operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This position is essential to maintaining the productivity and success of our team across various construction and contracting projects.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting with site preparation, including clearing, levelling, and preparing ground for construction activities
- Carrying and transporting materials, tools, and equipment to designated work areas
- Digging, moving and compacting earth, gravel, and other materials as required
- Supporting skilled tradespeople by providing materials and assistance during construction phases
- Maintaining a clean and organised work site, including waste management and site tidying
- Operating basic hand tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Following all health and safety protocols and contributing to a safe working environment
- Responding to supervisor instructions and adapting to changing project requirements
- Assisting with demolition and site clearance tasks when required
