About the role

As a Labourer – House Raising Specialist at Raise My House, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company’s mission of helping homeowners across the Brisbane area raise, reposition, and structurally improve their homes. This is a physically demanding role that offers strong remuneration for the right person. It suits individuals who take pride in hard work, enjoy being on the tools, and thrive in a hands-on environment. This full-time position will see you working on-site across a range of residential projects, assisting our experienced tradesmen and contributing to the continued growth and success of our business.

What you'll be doing

Providing general labouring support to experienced tradesmen, including lifting, moving, and securing materials on-site. Assisting with house raising operations, including the setup of lifting equipment, beams, and supports. Helping with the installation of new stumps, piers, and other structural components.

Preparing and maintaining the work area to ensure a safe and efficient environment. Carrying out basic demolition work as required to facilitate the house raising process. Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition.

Adhering to all health and safety regulations and procedures. Collaborating with the wider team to deliver high-quality outcomes for our customers.





What we're looking for A strong work ethic, with the ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team. Good physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of the role. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe and tidy work environment.

A valid driver’s licence and your own reliable transportation. A willingness to learn new skills — at Raise My House, we are prepared to train you and pay you well while you learn. Australian work rights are required for this position.
