Position:Laser welding stainless steel components to food industry standards.Ongoing work.
Conditions: Very clean workshop with jobs well organized. Friendly team culture, work with highly skilled trades team.
Shifts: Day Shift from 6am – 3pm, 5 days a week + option to work overtime.
Rates:
- $55.12/hr + super + overtime
- Fulltime casual role
Required Skills:
- 2nd Class Welder, trade qualification not essential.
- Previous experience with laser welding in a stainless steel/mild steel/aluminium components with minimal thermal distortion.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
- Adherence to Australian safety protocols for Class 4 laser operations, including appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and environmental shielding.
- An understanding of equipment technical specifications and application to processing systems.
