Fuller Civil & Construction is seeking experienced Qualified Carpenters and Concreters to join our team in Darwin, NT. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work on diverse construction projects across the Northern Territory. You will be instrumental in delivering high-quality craftsmanship on building and civil construction sites, contributing to our reputation for excellence in the trades and services sector. Based in Darwin, you will have the opportunity to work on varied and challenging projects that showcase your expertise in both carpentry and concrete works.

Key responsibilities

- Execute carpentry work including framing, formwork, finishing, and installation of structural and decorative timber elements on construction sites
- Prepare, set, and finish concrete works including pouring, levelling, and curing in accordance with specifications and site requirements
- Read and interpret architectural drawings, plans, and technical specifications to ensure accurate construction delivery
- Measure, cut, and shape timber and other materials with precision using hand tools and power equipment
- Mix, pour, and finish concrete to required standards, ensuring proper slope, surface finish, and durability
- Maintain safe working practices and adhere to all health and safety regulations on site
- Collaborate effectively with other trades, supervisors, and site management to ensure project timelines are met
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and report any defects or safety concerns
- Undertake quality checks on completed work to ensure compliance with building standards and client specifications

What we're looking for

- Current relevant trade qualifications and certifications as a Carpenter and/or Concretor
- Proven experience working in the building trades, ideally with several years in carpentry and concrete construction
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and construction best practices




- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and concrete finishing equipment
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings accurately
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively on multi-trade construction sites
- Physical fitness and ability to perform physically demanding work in the Darwin climate
- Current White Card or equivalent site safety induction certification
- Reliable transport and willingness to travel to various project sites as required
- Problem-solving abilities and adaptability to changing site conditions
