THE ROLE

If so, here's your opportunity to join YMCA South Australia as a Boxing Instructor and Group Fitness Instructor! At the Y, we believe in empowering people to live healthier, happier lives through movement, connection and community. Based at Marion Leisure and Fitness Centre, you'll play a key role in motivating participants, promoting wellbeing and supporting members to achieve their health goals by delivering engaging classes.

As a Boxing Coach and Group Fitness Instructor, you will:

- Deliver high quality Boxing and Group Fitness classes within prescribed program formats/guidelines
- Ensure studio is set up and packed up at scheduled times
- Maintain equipment and report any faults or safety concerns
- Ensure the health and safety of all participants
- Complete all required administration, including attendance records and incident reports
- Foster a sense of belonging and build rapport with participants

REQUIREMENTS

Successful candidates will also have, or be willing to obtain:

- Current Coaching registration with Boxing SA (Pre-requisite)
- HLTAID009 Perform CPR or equivalent
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid or equivalent
- Professional Registration with applicable governing body (AusActive) (highly desirable)
