Chandler Macleod is currently seeking a reliable and community-minded Traffic Coordinator / Parking Supervisor to support the safe movement of vehicles, students, staff, and visitors at The Knox School in Wantirna South.

About the Role

Working during peak school drop-off and pick-up periods, you will play an important role in supporting the school's Traffic Management Plan by assisting with traffic flow, directing vehicles, monitoring pedestrian crossings, and promoting a safe environment for students and families.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday (School Term Time Only)

- Morning Shift: 7:45am to 9:15am
- Afternoon Shift: 2:30pm to 4:00pm

Total: Approximately 3 hours per day, 15 hours per week during Victorian school terms.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the secure flow of traffic throughout the school grounds
- Direct vehicles in designated pick-up and drop-off zones
- Assist students and pedestrians to cross designated crossing points safely
- Monitor traffic congestion and report incidents or hazards
- Promote compliance with the school's Traffic Management Plan
- Communicate professionally with parents, staff, visitors, and contractors
- Maintain a visible and approachable presence during peak periods




- Complete incident reporting as required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A friendly, calm, and skilled manner
- Strong awareness of safety and risk management practices
- The ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Reliability and punctuality
- Previous experience in traffic control, parking supervision, customer service, security, education support, or similar roles will be highly regarded

Essential Requirements

Successful applicants will be required to obtain and maintain:

- Current Employee Working With Children Check (Victoria)
- National Police Check
- Drug & Alcohol Screening
- Completion of mandatory school compliance and student safety training
