About the Role

Reporting to the Executive Chef and Head Chef, the Casual Pastry Chef enjoys creative freedom across a wide range of patisserie components. Working within our central production kitchen,



you will produce high-quality desserts and pastry items in accordance with The Fresh Collective's standardised recipes and production systems for premium events and iconic venues.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create all facets of dessertsâfrom individual delicacies and slab cakes to bespoke, high-end patisserie dishes
- Produce pastry and dessert items for corporate boardroom lunches, VIP dinners, and large-scale offsite catering events
- Manage daily mise en place and ensure accurate, consistent preparation, presentation, and portioning
- Maintain the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and workplace compliance
- Collaborate effectively with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and timely execution of orders

About You

- Patisserie qualifications, Cert IV is highly regarded
- Prior experience in a 5-star hotel or high-end catering company
- Minimum 2 years trade experience
