Lead the patient experience in two established private practice physiotherapy clinics.
Preston Physiotherapy and Preston Pelvic Health are seeking an experienced and highly organised Senior Receptionist to join our team. We have specifically designed this role to cater for school pick up and drop off should that be required.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a busy healthcare setting and takes pride in creating a positive experience for patients while keeping clinic operations running smoothly.
As a key member of our administrative team, you will work closely with our physiotherapists and leadership team to ensure exceptional patient care and efficient day-to-day operations.

About the Role
This is a permanent part-time, in-person position based in Preston.
Beginning Regular Hours
Monday: 9:30am - 3:00pm
Friday: 10:00am - 1:00pm
Total: 14 hours per week
Additional hours may occasionally be required to cover staff leave.
Training & Coverage
Occasional Saturdays will be required for training and team coverage (7:45am - 2:00pm)

Future Growth
There is potential for additional hours and increased responsibilities and remuneration in 2027 for the right candidate.
Pay
Commencing at $30.00 per hour plus superannuation (training wages).
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service and support patients throughout their healthcare journey
- Manage appointment bookings, patient enquiries, payments and private health insurance claims
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Ensure reception areas remain professional, welcoming and organised
- Support clinicians and contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of both clinics
- Assist with training, team support and continuous improvement of clinic systems and processes

Previous reception or administration experience

Experience in a healthcare or allied health setting
Experience using Cliniko
Experience using Xero
Experience processing private health insurance claims
