We're seeking Lead & Senior Civil Construction Planners to join our talented Pre-Contracts & Major Projects Planning team here in our head office in Osborne Park. This is a permanent prospect, working Monday to Friday alongside industry leading professionals in the civil construction industry.

As the Lead /Senior Planner, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and optimizing project schedules across multiple civil construction projects. Working closely with Project Managers, Engineers and site teams, you will provide accurate planning, progress reporting and forecasting to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain detailed resource loaded project schedules that outline tasks, milestones and deadlines in line with construction methodology / contract requirements.
- Understand and interpret detailed engineering drawings. Translate drawings into project schedules.
- Monitor project timelines and adjust plans.
- Collaborate with construction teams on-site and other project stakeholders as required to maintain the project schedule.
- Collect progress information from construction team,



and update project schedule for progress, delays, variations and any other relevant information, and keep the project schedule up to date.
- Perform project schedule analysis and provide insights from the updated schedule to the project team on project performance.
- Prepare progress reports using Earned Value methodologies, generate S-Curves & weekly reports as per internal and client templates.
- Generate Manning & Commodity Histograms from construction schedule.
- Ability to perform delay analysis.

What you’ll bring:

- 10+ years’ experience in planning construction projects, ideally in the civil construction industry.
- Developed & managed resourced project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Planning experience in the Civil construction industry essential.
- Excellent communication skills with proven experience of building relationships at all levels of an organization.
- Demonstrate initiative and ensure that the teams you work with feel confident, informed, and efficient.Intermediate / advanced user of MS Office Suite (particularly Word & Excel) to assemble and maintain documents, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Proficient user of P6.
- Proficient user of Navisworks.
- Experience in Power Query (Excel) would be an advantage.




- PMI-SP or AACE-PSP would be an advantage.
- Engineer or trade qualified preferably in Civil Engineering.
