Our client is a large NSW Government Organisation who are seeking Licensing Support Officer to join their team.
In this role, you will provide a range of clerical, administrative, assessment and related support services to ensure that license applications for designated regulated sectors (liquor, gaming, racing, wagering and/or the casino) are assessed and processed in accordance with legislation, policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide a range of administrative and support services, including undertaking searches, to support the assessment and processing of applications/renewals/variations and related approvals/authorisations within identified timeframes, and in accordance with delegation, relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
2. Provide timely,
accurate information and support to customers and other stakeholders on basic licensing and related matters.
3. Escalate more complex enquiries, licensing applications/ renewals/variations or related approvals/authorisation, contributing to recommended actions as appropriate.
Selection Criteria:
1. Experience providing a range of clerical, administrative and general support services in a high volume setting.
2. Be ethical and professional, and uphold and promote the public sector values
3. Experience in providing customer-focused services in line with the public sector is an advantage.
On offer is a 12 month contract at a highly sought after NSW Government Organisation, with a highly competitive hourly rate.
