About the Opportunity

We are seeking an Experienced Light Vehicle Mechanic for a Permanent Full-Time opportunity, based at our newly awarded project in the Gascoyne region. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a major new development from the ground up. This role will entail preventative and breakdown maintenance on our onsite equipment.

Working closely with other members of our Site Maintenance teams, this role will report to the Maintenance Supervisors. Based between Kalbarri and Shark Bay, this is a fantastic opportunity that can offer ongoing works.

About You

- Demonstrated experience in more than one of the following: Light Vehicle, Forklift, Lighting Towers and Pump equipment repairs
- 12 months post trade experience in a mining or civil engineering environment on large scale earthmoving equipment
- HRWL: CN, DG, RG & LF (Highly Regarded)
- Australian recognised Light Vehicle Trade Qualification
- Current C Class Drivers Licence
- Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team to complete jobs to a high standard
- A proven commitment to, and compliance with site safety standards
- Willingness to undertake a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug / Alcohol Screen

Responsibilities





- Utilising your organisational skills to ensure you are stocked with the required parts & tools to undertake work on site
- Complete scheduled repairs and maintenance of equipment in a safe and efficient manner using correct manual handling techniques.
- Perform diagnostics, problem solving, and fault finding accurately and in a timely manner.
- Strive for continuous improvement by identifying, interpreting and repair for reuse of any parts and accessories
- Effectively work and communicate with other team members & clients on site to prioritise tasks and achieve deadlines
- Able to work self-sufficiently, part of a team, autonomously, and conduct works in a professional manner
- Ability to meet deadlines whilst maintaining a robust approach to safety
