About The Role

Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Senior Power Platform Engineer.

This is a long-term contract role with an initial 12-month contract with extension options, located at our client's Canberra, ACT office with hybrid working arrangements.

As The Selected Candidate, You Will

- Design and build Canvas and Model-Driven Power Apps for desktop and mobile environments.
- Develop and maintain Microsoft Dataverse data models, security configurations, and governance controls.
- Design and implement Power Automate cloud and desktop flows (RPA) to automate business processes.
- Develop Power BI reports, dashboards, semantic models, and deployment pipelines.
- Configure and customise Dynamics 365 modules, forms, workflows, and business process flows.
- Integrate Power Platform and Dynamics 365 solutions with external applications using Microsoft Graph API and Azure Integration Services.
- Implement and manage Power Platform ALM processes including managed solutions, workplace strategies, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Administer the Power Platform Centre of Excellence (CoE) Starter Kit.
- Ensure solutions comply with ISM controls, Essential Eight requirements, and agency governance standards.
- Deliver user training, knowledge transfer, and mentoring to internal stakeholders and technical teams.

Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens with Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1) security clearance.

To Be Successful In This Role You Should Have

- 5+ years of hands-on Microsoft Power Platform experience including Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Pages.
- Experience working within a Landing Zone construct.
- Demonstrated Dataverse expertise including data modelling, security roles, business rules, plug-ins, custom connectors, and solution management.
- Strong Dynamics 365 configuration and customisation experience within Customer Service, Field Service, or similar modules.




- Extensive Power BI experience including report development, DAX, semantic modelling, row-level security, deployment pipelines, and dataflows.
- Proven experience implementing Power Platform ALM strategies, managed solutions, and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Experience working within government or highly regulated environments.
- Strong understanding of ISM controls and Essential Eight security requirements.

It Is Desirable If You Have

- Microsoft Power Platform certifications including PL-200, PL-400, PL-600, and/or PL-300.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications such as MB-210, MB-240, or equivalent module-specific certifications.
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio including bot design, topic authoring, entity extraction, and channel integration.
- Experience with Azure Integration Services including Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Service Bus.
