We are currently seeking a part time (3 days) Broadcast Technologist to join our team in the Melbourne Office! This is a fun and exciting role that will be looking after some of Australia’s largest radio shows. You will be working with a diverse team to support both local and national shows.

About the role:

Broadcasting and Technical Studio Equipment

- Ensure the effective functioning of broadcasting and streaming equipment, both within studios as a priority and production environments, by responding to and resolving any technical malfunctions or operator issues
- Ensure the preventative maintenance schedule for broadcasting and technical equipment is adhered to, in accordance with quality standards, policy and priorities
- Ensure any additions or changes to infrastructure are documented clearly and accurately
- Provide hardware and software support for all broadcast computer systems
- Always ensure the effective operation of ARN’s radio transmitter sites and transmission signals by monitoring signals and fail-safe systems
- Ensure the preventative maintenance schedule is adhered to by inspecting the technical equipment and transmitter building sites, in accordance with quality standards, policy and priorities

IT Facilities and Office Equipment

- Work collaboratively with the IT and infrastructure teams to ensure hardware and software support for computers to resolve user issues

About you:

- Broadcast transmission equipment knowledge
- Audio and visual knowledge
- Excellent time and project management skills




- Sound organisational skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal
- Technical related knowledge and experience in commercial broadcasting
- Enjoys exploring current and exciting technology
