About the role

White Spot Group Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Cleaning Area Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position based in WA. As Cleaning Area Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing cleaning operations across a designated area, ensuring exceptional service delivery, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and managing a team of cleaning professionals. This role is pivotal to our operational success and directly impacts the quality of service we provide to our clients.

Key responsibilities

- Supervise and manage a team of cleaning staff, including scheduling, training, performance management and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
- Conduct regular inspections of cleaning areas to ensure all work meets company standards and client expectations
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, and coordinate orders to maintain adequate stock
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules that maximise efficiency whilst meeting client requirements
- Respond to and resolve client complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, staff attendance, incidents and service delivery
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations across all cleaning operations
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within the designated area
- Liaise between cleaning teams and clients to communicate expectations, updates and any service modifications
- Participate in staff training and development initiatives to enhance team skills and knowledge
- Hands on responsibility for periodical jobs

What we’re looking for

- Proven experience working as a Cleaning Supervisor, Cleaning Manager or similar supervisory role within the cleaning services industry




- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and manage staff effectively
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products and equipment appropriate to various environments
- Understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices within the cleaning industry
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and staff
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complaints professionally and constructively
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Valid driver's license and reliable transport to visit multiple cleaning sites
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including early mornings or evenings as operational requirements dictate
