We are large wholesale nursery located approximately 50 km from Darwin is seeking a another reliable and organised person to join our busy sales team. This position would ideally suit a local resident.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, duties will include:
- Answering telephone calls and assisting customers
- Maintaining Bunnings profiles and processing sales orders
- Processing customer invoices
- Selecting & Allocation of plants on the nursery grounds
- Entering and maintaining accurate computer records
- Undertaking offsite duties each Monday morning
- Assisting with other sales, administration and nursery duties as required
Applicants will need:
- Good computer and data-entry skills
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Positive attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- The willingness and physical ability to work outdoors
- A current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- The ability to work independently and follow directions from the Sales Manager
- A flexible attitude and willingness learn and assist in different areas of the nursery
A car allowance will be provided for approved work-related travel.
Training will be provided in our workplace computer program, plant selection and other nursery skills. Previous nursery or horticultural experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
