They currently have a contract vacancy for a LINUX / AIX Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, Configure & Support LINUX/AIX- Automation/Monitoring/Backup

- Security Configuration – Manage system security on the servers

- Involvement and participation in the coordination and resolution of application, operating system, database, and network issues at a technical level

- Upgrades and tuning of hardware as required

- Maintain change control procedures

- Support disaster recovery strategy

- Implement system backup

- Ensure existing systems continue to operate efficiently

Your capabilities:

- 5+ years' experience in Administration of LINUX / Aix

- Previous experience in being a sysadmin,

- Solid communication (written and verbal)

- Business acumen and ensure a consistently high level of customer satisfaction

- Technical aptitude, written and oral communications skills,

- Proven ability to operate in a high pressure dynamic environment,
