About the role

We are seeking a Local HC Driver to join OilTrans in Virginia, QLD. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to be part of a energetic road transport operation of Edible Oils. As a Local HC Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy commercial vehicles on local routes, ensuring timely delivery of goods whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

This role is pivotal to our logistics operations and directly contributes to the efficiency and reliability of our transport services.

Key responsibilities

1. Operate heavy commercial vehicles safely and professionally on assigned local routes
2. Load, transport and unload edible oils
3. Deliver goods to customers on time whilst maintaining vehicle security and cargo integrity
4. Communicate effectively with dispatch, management and customers regarding delivery status and any issues encountered

What we're looking for

1. Valid Heavy Commercial (HC) driver's licence with a clean driving record
2. Manual (Road Ranger) experience
3. Previous Tanker experience preferred but not required
4. Proven experience operating heavy commercial vehicles in a local transport environment
5. Excellent time management and organisational skills
6. Training will be provided
