What you’ll be doing

- Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on plant and equipment with some of the worlds most advanced machinery.




- Attend to breakdowns and safely restore production in an efficient manner
- Identify and report plant, equipment and safety issues and contribute to corrective actions
- Support fabrication and modification of equipment where required
- Maintain workshop, tools and equipment in a clean, tidy and protected condition
- Ensure all maintenance work areas are free of foreign objects prior to handover
- Complete maintenance records, registers and associated documentation
- Work in accordance with site safety, food safety and operational procedures

What you’ll bring

- Trade qualification (Cert III in Engineering – Mechanical / Fabrication / Machining preferred)
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or food processing environment
- Strong mechanical fitting skills including conveyors, bearings, chains and sprockets
- Competency in MIG, TIG and arc welding; gas and plasma cutting
- Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics
- Ability to read drawings and safely fault‑find equipment
- Experience using lathes and milling machines
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team‑based environment
- A proactive, safety‑first mindset with strong problem‑solving skills
