Job Title Maintenance Officer – reporting to the General Manager.

Responsibilities - Deliver general maintenance and repairs of buildings, fixtures, fittings, homes and associated structures in accordance with the Home Maintenance Plan.

- Manage and undertake inspection and delivery of statutory, preventative and corrective maintenance of the facility.
- Provide supervision and coordination of site contractors.
- Ensure an aesthetic, compliant and safe working environment.
- Maintain property facilities, including cleaning, painting, lighting maintenance, TV installations, hanging paintings, disposal of rubbish, air‑conditioning checks, tiling, basic plumbing, furniture removal and general repairs.
- Execute planned maintenance of home assets in accordance with the Maintenance Plan and legislative requirements.
- Ensure all maintenance activity complies with relevant legislation and workflow procedures.




- Use preferred suppliers and keep works within budget.
- Carry out scheduled tasks within agreed timelines.

Qualifications - Hands‑on experience of building maintenance work and procedures.

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience in contractor management.
- Experience managing site maintenance budgets, work orders and requisitions.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Knowledge and application of relevant legislation, codes and standards.
- Moderate computer literacy.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Pre‑employment medical assessment required.
- Prior to commencement, completion of a National Police Check and/or an NDIS Workers Check (or willingness to obtain).
