About Our Client

Our client is a rapidly growing Perth based ASX listed business within the resource sector

- Prepare and perform analytical reviews of monthly project cost reports

- Conduct regular cost to complete analyses to monitor project performance against approved budgets

- Identify and report on cost variances, providing insights and recommendations for corrective action

- Monitor project expenditure, track commitments, and prepare financial forecasts

- Ensure Fixed Asset register is maintained including timely capitalisations and disposals, and appropriate depreciation methods are applied.

- Preparation of budgets and periodic rolling forecasts as required

- Develop and maintain financial models to support business and project decision making

- Assist financial accountant with end of month processes and journals

The Successful Applicant A successful Management Accountant should have:





- Tertiary Degree in Accounting or relevant qualifications

- Completed or working towards CA/CPA

- Exposure to on site stakeholder management

- 3-5 years experience within the resources sector

- Experience with Pronto is desirable

- Proven experience working with accounting software packages and financial systems

- Candidates must be Australian permanent residents or citizens only.
