About Role:
- Lead end-to-end transition activities for operations and integration projects.
- Develop and manage transition plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Drive knowledge transfer and ensure process documentation is completed.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Integration, IAM, Infrastructure,
Security, etc.) to ensure smooth transition.
- Manage risks, dependencies, and escalations, ensuring business continuity.
- Establish governance frameworks – weekly status calls, dashboards, transition trackers, and reports.
- Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for client stakeholders during the transition phase.
- Ensure seamless handovers to steady-state operations and sign-off from stakeholders.
- Track and report on KPIs, SLAs, and success criteria for the transition.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and integration efficiencies.
- Certifications preferred - CISSP, CISM, GCIH, GCFA, CHFI, CEH, SEC+
Responsibilities:
- Lead the team with accountability to ensure overall delivery commitments are met
- Conduct proactive threat and compromise analysis by reviewing reports to understand threat campaign(s) techniques, lateral movements and extract indicators of compromise (IOCs).
- Prepare annual plans aligned with customer’s IT strategy
- Represent TCS at Executive Steering committee and report on overall delivery status, contract compliance, improvement initiatives etc.
- Act as first point of contact to the CISO, CIO for any security operations related information
- Project Management for regular operational delivery commitments as well as enhancement projects
- Periodic reporting of operational metrics to the customer as well as TCS Management. Report metrics as per contractual requirement to customer’s vendor management team.
- Perform root cause analysis for critical operational incidents and present it to the directors for approval. Track Corrective/preventative action plan to closure.
- Responsible for security incident response and documentation of major investigation reports
- Serve as a single point of contact for customer escalations; prepare remediation plans when needed - including for periodic customer satisfaction surveys.
- Work closely with all Operations staff including offshore to ensure 24x7 availability.
- Work in a multi-supplier environment and appropriately handle risks to TCS’ delivery commitments
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
- Team management with good Information security technical expertise and ability to frontend customer interactions
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good organization skills to ensure coordination and smooth hand-offs between onshore & offshore teams
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Project Management experience with an ability to mentor the team and meet delivery objectives
- Experience in Security Incident Response Lifecycle with a good understanding of Cyber Kill Chain & Mitre ATT&CK; frameworks
- Strong ability to advise customers on prioritization of security controls (Both in-person and written)
- Flexibility of availability hours. Cyber Security situations need unplanned prioritization. Should be open for on-call attendance
- Flexibility to travel
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
