A teaching-focused appointment requires excellence in teaching across undergraduate, honours and postgraduate programs, including course coordination, supported by a national profile in teaching impact and/or education or discipline capacity-building research. The role involves leading initiatives that enhance curriculum, pedagogy and assessment, supervising higher degree students to completion, and driving program and curriculum development. It also requires robust internal service and mentoring contributions, and active external engagement, with leadership and influence extending to national level and progressing towards an international level at Academic Level D.
